This lovely silk scarf is an ecoprinted or botanically printed one of a kind silk scarf with a beautiful bold design from gingko leaves, baby's breath ( see close up!) and assorted plants. The striking combination of natural tannin colors of copper, golds, greens and bronze from the plants pop from the surface design. Over dyed to create the deep Burgundy background! The scarf is 8" x 72" pure silk.


Eco dyeing or botanical printing involves  foraging and collecting Nature's leaves, plants and flowers to imprint on fibers. The  unique, all natural designs and colors are drawn directly from the plant matter. Each textile tells its own story.  That is what makes it such an exciting and unique art form.
