Workshop Policies:

We try to keep this easy to understand but there is some legal language within the terms required by our insurance! Please read everything carefully to avoid any confusion.

We travel a lot to various destinations around the country to teach our workshops.  When a class is "In-Studio" at our Franklinton location, we teach two types of workshops:  Classes and Private. Our workshop policies are designed to avoid confusion! Please read the basic policy under each before registering for a class or seeking a private session!

Workshop Classes:   The majority of our classes are one day in length, generally from 10:00 am -4:00 pm.. The registration fee for in-studio classes will include the necessary supplies needed for the workshop. All of the one day classes are paid in full at the time of registration. Please check your calendars for the date of each workshop as if the student cancels, the registration fees are NOT refundable.  You may, however, send a replacement to take your spot. If the The Silk Thread cancels the workshop, all registration fees are refunded to the student..

Private Classes: Private classes can be 1-3 days long and  fees and dates are agreed upon by each party and confirmed via email Because that date has been set aside for the private workshop, a NON-refundable deposit by the student is required to secure the transaction. If The Silk Thread cancels the workshop, the whole deposit is refunded.
