Ecoprinted Leather  Earrings!

These lovely double teardrop shaped earrings are 2.25" long and 1.75" wide. Pair them with one of my ecoprinted silk scarves for a matching accessory!  The findings are nickel free rhodium finish with fish hook ear wires. These are not those faux leather earrings all over the Internet and Etsy, these are one of a kind ecoprinted leather!  I use only genuine kidskin or grade A cowhide in my studio. Beautiful yet lightweight comfort!


I ecoprint on both fabric and leather and the results are unique. I  collect various leaves and foliage from my NC farm and through a natural process, imprint them onto leather. I then handcraft the hides into handbags, journals, jewelry and clothing. The colors you see are the actual colors Nature released to me that day as I imprinted my pieces. Additional dyes are used to enhance the natural leaves or background in some pieces.
