This beautiful, one of a kind, wall hanging is ecoprinted on pure raw silk (much heavier than a silk scarf). I then needle felted the adorable Bluebird onto the plant designs. All leaves were collected by me on my NC farm. The actual size of the fiber art wall hanging is 16" wide x 24" long. A sewn in pocket holds the wood dowel used to hang and display the piece. Backing is dark brown cotton.


This wall hanging comes with a tag with the story of its making. A unique and unusual gift! 


Eco dyeing or printing is the collecting and imprinting Nature's plants, leaves and grasses to form beautiful, permanent designs on fibers. The results are incredibly beautiful, and drawn directly from Nature! The shapes are the actual prints from the plants.
