This particular workshop has been a long time coming! If you have been creating Ecoprinted leather from my workshops or Tutorials and have yet to actually "make" something from your many pieces, then this workshop is for you!

.Don't worry about not having enough as I will have various size kits available for purchase, on site, for those who do not have an adequate supply or need the heavier leather.

What we will be doing and what you will need:

​

We will using  hand tools as well as my Sailrite machine and a home sewing machine to construct our pieces. If you are within driving distance, bring your own sewing machine and we will set it up for use on the kidskin only.

​

Of all the "kits" available on Amazon, this KIT has the most useful tools for working on your ecoprinted leather, especially the heavier leathers! Believe me, I have spent a lot of money on the wrong tools!  Learn which tools work best before adding to them! I have an assortment of hardware used most often such as rivets, clasp opening, snaps,buckles, etc which I will supply along with the scrap leather for practice!

We will be working on a variety of techniques but in the end you will have constructed a clutch bag, made your own should and hand straps, a wallet and a machine sewable kidskin pocketbook. I will demonstrate a number of additional projects such as leather earrings and bracelets as well as links to some of my favorite sites for additional information! You will also know how to add snaps, rivets, eyelets and a variety of closures that are used most commonly in leather working.

Hot and cold beverages and snacks provided. Bring your lunches (I have a refrigerator in the studio) Limited to just 4 dedicated crafters!
