Ecoprint on Lambskin Leather is a great class to introduce you to the world of leather in ecoprinting. It is designed to be suitable for all levels of experience! Ecoprinting uses the tannins, shapes and properties of Nature's leaves, plants and flowers to imprint those designs onto assorted substrates such as silk, wool, linen and other fibers. Leather can be a particular challenge. So in this workshop, you will learn the techniques of creating imprints on  lambskin leather with designs in color and natural. You will also learn how to select additional leather suitable for ecoprinting as well as care and maintenance of your leather!

What we will be doing:

 

We will be working on creating beautiful ecoprints on lambskin using Nature's colors for a natural imprint and techniques for added color on leather. This weight of leather for the class can be sewn on a home sewing machine!

Supplies: You will need my basic supply kit for this class that includes 2 lengths of kidskin, 1 pre-dyed blanket, 2 packaged mordants for use in class and instructions. I ship 24 hours after your order but please allow time for postal delivery!
